You pay
Your own room & board
Nobody pays FFX anything. You cover your own share of guest houses and hostels (typically $10–20/night) — then the whole cohort stays and travels together, all seven weeks.
Languages, both ways
You bring English, you gain Russian — or the reverse. Conversation clubs at local English centers, and a cohort that switches languages at dinner.
Kyrgyzstan, together
Mountains, Issyk-Kul, bazaars, city life in Bishkek — seen with local friends who grew up here, not through a tour-bus window.
Friends, not clients
